Annai is the trade mark registered brand of M/S. MURUHAN &CO., since the year 1999,the company started marketing ANNAI DATES throughout Chennai city by three wheeler autos, the marketing team worked effectively the sale has grown from a mere Rs 1 lakh per month to about Rs 7 lakhs per month in the year 2006 and on our milestone archived Rs.25,00,00,000.00 per month and having more than 80 SKU.
The story may look like a miracle, but the hard work, the pot holes and the bumps on the way and the stormy inclement weather are known only to him, the person who stood behind our achievements was Mr. T. Murugesan, the Managing Director of the Company.
Having felt the need to expand his marketing net to all parts of Tamilnadu , since february 2006, The company has appointed distributors throughout the state by virtue of this, the sale of products and brand name ANNAI as grown atleast 25% during the current year when compared with the previous years.
From the month of february 2006, the company has added HONEY and DATES SYRUP in to its list of products and obtained FPO license in the year of month 2006 for repacking and sale dates syrup.
ANNAI HONEY is one of the very few brands which has got “Agmark” certificate. Being quality conscious MURUHAN&CO., has applied for quality management certification and that was allotted ISO 9001:2000 certification for quality management by ukas.
With knowledge and experience gained during the last few years, we have launched our products into other southern states viz., Andhra Pradesh , Karnataka. We import the black dates from Middle east.
On our success journey we incorporated Annai Food Products Private Limited on 26 April 2013. It is classified as Non-govt company and is registered at Registrar of Companies, Chennai. Its authorized share capital is Rs. 500,000 and its paid up capital is Rs. 500,000.It is inolved in Manufacture of beverages and marketing the products of Murugan & co in the brand name ANNAI.
