   On most Dia-form machines two dressers are setup for use in tandem and both can be replaced or interchanged easily and quickly. Mounted adjacent to each other either the roughing and semi-finishing and finishing tools can be setup together. Both dressers are inclined at an angle of 5 degrees to the wheel centerline at the point of contact, providing the optimum cutting conditions. Various angles and radii are available on these forming tools. Our latest technology and optics allow us to manufacture very specific radii and angles on these form diamonds. If a customer has other specific dimensions not listed simply send a sketch. Although Dia-form dressers were designed for the Dia-form machine many operators use the mono variety of machines.

The Dragoon contains specially selected long stones, which are interlocked in layers, in a powder metal blade. This type of setting allows the tools to be fully consumed in use, no servicing is required. This is an important factor on automated and high production grinding machines. These tools are being used on a large number of centreless, cylindrical and surface grinding machines where accuracy of form and finish are important and in certain cases, the Dragoon has surpassed the more expensive polished chisel type for profiling work.
