The SS20 was born from the accurate application of modern mechanical and electronic technology. It represents a major departure from the traditional skiving machine. The computer installed in the SS20 has made it possible to introduce some unique features. The machine, in fact, is constantly monitored, it adjusts itself automatically and stays perfectly efficient while in operation. All functions are performed by mechanical units driven by independent motors operating under the direct control of the computer. The original structure of mechanical units has made it possible to use a tilting electro-spindle, thus allowing an immediate accessibility to mechanical parts and an easier knife and grindstone replacement. The console can be easily reached and the data displays are very clear. An efficient dust collector is built in the frame of the machine.KNIFE POSITIONINGThe gap between the cutting edge and the presser foot is preset by the operator with micrometric precision. An automatic device enables this gap to be maintained by moving the knife forward as it wears out. This very important automatic device provides for the maintenance of a high level of skiving efficiency and avoids frequent and accurate adjustments.

The SPT4 is a machine used to press and, at the same time, reinforce the seams by applying a self-sticking tape. The arm-shaped structure makes it easy to process the uppers of open and closed footwear, and boots as well. The efficiency of the feeding device of the upper and of the tape applying device accomplishes easy and fast operations.DOUBLE FEEDING SYSTEMThe motor drives both feed rollers; the shoe-upper is easily fed and the tape is always applied without wrinkles. It is never necessary to push the upper.TAPE FEEDING AND SNIPPINGA photocell accurately controls the snipping of the tape and makes it easy to adjust the length; no attention is required of the operative. The tape feeding and snipping device is a very compact assembly that leaves ample visibility of the operation point. Besides, the uppers can be fed one after the other with no need to stop the machine. Productivity is consequently greatly improved.FEEDING SPEEDThe SPT4 is powered by a DC Brushless motor. Therefore the feeding speed can be easily and precisely adjusted.

P55 exploits the strength of punch cutting through an exclusive bridge structure with independent and synchronized mobile carriages. This original solution eliminates length limitations of the cutting area and allows a continuous and productive work cycle: no cuts to remove waste material, piece removal by fall and with the possibility to cut sheets with unlimited length or in rolls. P55 is therefore an "automatic" punching machine that eliminates dead time and does not require constant presence of the operator to remove pieces and waste or for frequent loading of the material.

Studied to integrate the automatic nesting tools of the cutting units, NT/XL and NT/XXL are off line digitizing and nesting tables for skins. It is a new concept unit, with advanced functionality and sophisticated tools but also as slender, practical and ergonomic as the manual marking tables. Using the new NT/XL, in combination with the high productivity cutting islands, eliminates compensation between the nesting time and the cutting time in such equipments. In such a way, depending on the cases, a significant increase in productivity can be achieved.

The knife cutting technology eliminates the cost of cutting dies while taking advantage of a direct connection to CAD systems to immediately begin production. To compete with die-cutting press productivity CM44+ adopts a structure with two cutting heads and a conveyor belt which organizes the flow of operations through three separate areas: piece nesting, nested piece cutting, and cut piece removal.CONTINUOUS NESTINGWithout pause or change of workplace, the operator maintains full focus and concentration on nesting the pieces on the leather carried by the conveyor belt.2 CUTTING HEADSIn a compact area served by a powerful local vacuum system, two cutting heads share the work for maximum optimization of operations. Tool change is viable thanks to the complete rotation of the cutting heads, which feature an oscillating knife, marking pen, 4 cutting-dies and punch revolver located in a convenient and visible frontal position.INDEPENDENT REMOVALThe rear table collects large amounts of cut leather enabling the removal of cut leather without constant attention.WORK AREAOn a single work area, bright and ergonomic, piece shapes are positioned and projected by a laser beam that is always sharp on any type or color of leather. With the coordination of the conveyor belt, skins as wide as 1,5m and unlimited length can be fed, positioned and cut in sequence under full control of the operator.

With the flexibility typical of cnc knife cutting machines, CZ/P recreates the same optimal working conditions of swing arm clicking presses.In the CZ/P, the work area is compact and ergonomic (1300 x 650 mm) and it is served by a cutting head mounted on a telescopic swing arm with axial rotation. This structure which was indeed inspired by swing arm clicking presses allows a complete accessibility of the work area that is unobstructed on the front and sides and has a rear pocket to accommodate the leather. The optional conveyor belt helps the movement of the material allowing an excellent flow of the work cycle.
