A chiller will use either a vapor compression or absorption cycle to cool. Chilled water has a variety of applications from space cooling to process uses.Types of Industrial Chillers : A chiller is rated between one to 1000 tons of cooling energy. There are three different types of chillers : air, water, and evaporative condensed chiller. There are four subcategories in each of the above categories for industrial chillers :  Reciprocating, centrifugal,  screw driven and absorption chillers. The first three types are mechanical chillers which are powered by electric motors, steam, or gas turbines. An absorption chiller is powered by a heat source such as steam and uses no moving parts.Components of an Industrial Chiller : The mechanical compression cycle has four basic components through which the refrigerant passes : the evaporator, the compressor,  the condenser, the expansion valve. The evaporator in the chiller will operate at a lower pressure and lower temperature than the condenser.

In the middle we have saddle or threaded pvc t. This saddle or threaded pvc t can be fitted with 3/4 inch ss nipple which is a standard one for all disk diffusers or tubular diffusers. From blower the pipe headers are fitted with saddles. Hence the ss nipple works as a connecting air link between headers and diffusers. The fine bubble aeration from the diffuser helps to control bod and cod. Multi Louver Damper as the name implies consists of multiple louvers placed along the cross section of duct rotating simultaneously about their own axis which cause the louvers to align themselves along the direction of flow or block the flow. They serve as a better option as compared to butterfly dampers. Dampers ‘IGVs (Inlet Guide Vanes) are designed to pre-rotate or spin the air in the direction of fan/compressor rotation. This has a flow-modifying and a resistance effect and hence allows operating a constant speed fan at different process conditions. AIGV’s (Adjustable inlet guide vanes) will allow more efficient operation than an inlet butterfly damper at reduced head requirements for a constant speed driven single stage centrifugal fan. Butterfly damper is a disk-shaped valve turning on an axis along its diameter, serving especially as a damper in a pipe or as a choke or throttle in a duct. The butterfly damper does not decrease the power consumption when throttled, in contrast to IGV.
