Construction : A packing with a center of hollow silicon core or solid silicon cord braided around by yarn of style 51, 62, 71, 82 & 83. Application : A specially developed packing for use on rotating equipment having excessive shaft deviation. It also reduces shaft sleeve wear. The center of silicon core cord gives it strong restoration properties, and exerts back-pressure, resulting in total sealing. This packing is suitable for pumps, reactors, mixers, agitators, etc.
