Dax Media Converters offer seamless connection between 10/100 and 100 Base-FX networks allowing cost-effective expansion. Dax Media Converters supports switching and conversion between 10Base-T/100Base-TX to 100Base-FX networks. The fiber connector is SC type. It expands the size of an existing Network provides fiber connectivity to Fast Ethernet segments allowing even further networking expansion between extended workgroups. Fiber Connectivity Dax Media Converter enhances the distance between the networking devices Fiber segments can be further extended distance up to maximum 120km between networking nodes. This can be achieved by direct connection between the converter and a fiber based node. Auto-negotiation Dax Media converter is equipped with high performance auto sensing chip which have full functionality of transferring, exchanging and guarantee the safety and stability of data transfer. Dax Media converter comes with MDI/MDI-X auto-sensing functionality. Diagnostic LEDS Dax Media Converter includes troubleshooting features and LEDs to assist in Network diagnostics. It also ensures reliability by isolating cable breaks that usually occur. Easy Installation Dax media converters with UTP connectivity along with built in MDI/MDI-X function allows the converter to be connected to a PC, hub or switch with a simple UTP cable. The installers are able to test the integrity and reliability of the Dax media converters through fiber connections.
