We offer a comprehensive range of Dual Media Filter systems, which is used to produce effluent that is low in suspended solids. The filtration process consists of passing effluent water through filter medium that strain out colloidal particles such as fine sand, anthracite, earth particles or filter fabric. The water is passed through the under bed media & granular activated carbon layer. These filters have a back flushing arrangement, which easily flushes away the impurity depositedon carbon granules.  Our unique design of Dual Media filter ensures the maximum utilization of the surface area, lesser pressure drop across the filter bed and effective removal of the impurities even under the conditions of high filtration rate compare to pressure sand filter.During the filtration cycle the largest particles are strained out by the anthracite then the sand traps the rest of the particulate matter though a combination of adhesion and straining. As HEPA filters, these filters are also made out of imported micro glass fibre paper. The filter pack is manufactured by pleating a continuous media roll using automatic media pleating machine. Non dissolving thread glue is applied continuously while pleating at equidistances. The thread glue here act as separators, which in turn provide uniform spacing between the media folds as well as rigidtity and strength to the media pack. The filter pack prepared is then permanently bonded to the casing. The type of casing usually available are Aluminium anodized powder coated, Galvanized iron powder coated or stainless steel. These filters are best alternative to the conventional HEPA filters, with Aluminium Corrugated separators. It can handle more volume of air, as more filtration area is available to the same size of standard HEPAfiiter.
