A vacuum circuit breaker is such kind of circuit breaker where the arc quenching takes place in vacuum. The technology is suitable for mainly medium voltage application. For higher voltage vacuum technology has been developed but not commercially viable. The operation of opening and closing of current carrying contacts and associated arc interruption take place in a vacuum chamber in the breaker which is called vacuum interrupter. Advantages of Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) Service life of vacuum circuit breaker is much longer than other types of circuit breakers. There is no chance of fire hazard as oil circuit breaker. It is much environment friendly than SF6 Circuit breaker. Beside of that contraction of VCB is much user friendly. Replacement of vacuum interrupter (VI) is much convenient. Types & Ranges of VCB GES is the largest manufacturer of three types i.e., INDOOR, OUTDOOR & O/D KIOSK and also We provide different ranges of VCBs i.e., from 3.3KV to 33KV based on customers’ requirement.

ges was found in the year of 2002 in the name general engineering and services as a small scale manufacturing unit to start the manufacturing of ht switchgears in the industry belt of north chennai in india.
The founder mr. C. Edwin thayanantham is specially designed about his plan and was a powerful knowledge with several years work experiences of his hand in such renowned industrial houses such as easun limited, crompton greaves limited & siemens limited. His years of experience of the same field are not less than 20 years as he was certified at the right beginning he started this organization.
Our company is engaged in providing the services for all kind of ht switchgears, especially for easun, crompton greaves & siemens limited & supplying all the spares for the same without any spot and lack. We also are undertaking the designing, constructing, supplying & commissioning of various kinds of industrial control & relay panels, programming logical control boards. We offers three kind of broad categories’ which namely manufacturing, supplying, rendering all kind of trouble free services including amc contracts.
Ges and its team was actually ordained to take a master role in manufacturing of heavy engineering by the group which established it and performing with most innovative technology only running on behalf of a small wing of its enormity board.
