Introduction : The Hydrocolloid dressing being a family of wound management products contains gel forming agents like Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium etc. They are combined with elastomers and adhesives over a sheet of polyurethane film to form an absorbent, self-adhesive water proof dressing.
