We are a 50 year old firm. It was originally started by visionary Late Mr. K. R. Kannappa Chettiar in 1959 selling Fertilizers and Cement to cater the needs of people in and around Gummidipoondi. Later his sons joined the business in the 70’s and expanded the business to the next level. Now we are one of the leading distributors of cement of major brands in Chennai and Rest of Tamil Nadu.
We are proud that we are one among the few entities engaged in this business for this many years witnessing all the phases in cement industry – from controlled regime in 1959 to partial de-control in 1982 to Total de control in 1989 to the current scenario of cut - throat competition involving Domestic and Multinational Companies.
Our head office is in Gummidipoondi, Tamil Nadu with a branch office in Red hills, Chennai. We deal with more than 100 sub-dealers mainly in Chennai, Tiruvellore, Chengelpet, North Arcot District and supply to end users across Tamil Nadu. We have our own Logistics division with a fleet of trucks to provide better and reliable service to our customers.
