To embed the wooden runners/bearers on to props, nail holes are rendered at head & foot plates. Massive adjustments in heights are possible by embedding lock into holes that are rendered in the inner member. Whereas, fine adjustments in heights are made possible by ratting the malleable iron nut on the outer member.
