FEATURES Direct mass flow measurement, independent of fluid properties High Accuracy, Excellent repeatability Integrated control functionality for dosing purposes or other applications where liquid flow, but also gas flow, must be accurately regulated Compact design, with integrated PID controller for fast and stable control Now suitable for (very) low flow ranges Digital technology allows fieldbus communication and offers user configurable control characteristics For areas or installations with risk of explosion, ATEX Zone 1 and 2 solutions can be offered. Applications Bronkhorst Coriolis Mass Flow Controllers are used extensively in different Industrial and Research sectors where accurate (low-flow) control of fluids is critical to process. Here are a few examples: Dosing a platinum catalyst into a process plant Liquefied petroleum gas measurement in a research laboratory as a preliminary test for production Dosing of supercritical fluids (e.g. CO2) into reactors Accurate dosing of liquid additives, e.g. colorants, plasticizers, stabilizers and processing aids Surface treatment of plastic textiles, food and beverage packaging, parts for the automotive industry, etc. by means of vapor delivery systems

This meter utilizes the Coriolis force for flow measurement. The omega loop has proven itself particularly suitable for this process. The measuring tubes, which are bent to omega loops, are completed by two measuring bars and vertically secured torsion bars to create a harmonious oscillator. This carefully balanced and robust design has an extremely low power input. The frequency of the system essentially depends on the mass of the bars and the elasticity module of the torsion bars. Two electromagnetic coils set the system in motion. As soon as liquid or gas flows through the oscillating omega tubes, the resultant Coriolis force causes displacement of the tubes. The comparative relationship is established and the change in displacement is proportional to the mass flow. FEATURES Mass Flow Range: .004 kg/min all the way up to 25,000 kg/min. High accuracy, versatility and repeatability Hastelloy, Tantal and SS material of construction available Pressure up to 890 bar Temperature range: -2000◦C to 4000◦C Applications Custody Transfer of Mineral Oils, Bitumen and other viscous media
