A gasket of one material is covered by an envelope of another material (usually PTFE). We supply slit or milled envelopes and conventional or square form shields. These are manufactured as ring gaskets with a slit from the OD to approximately a few millimeter from the ID. The ID of the envelope extends and rests within the PCD/bolt circle.
