The main purpose of the ACDB is to eliminate the operation of the load at the immediate PCU O/P end and also provide flexible operation of different loads like Street lights, general home or office lights and optional loads that optionally operated (On/Off). Solar Batteries
The success of Off Grid Solar PV system largely depends on the efficiency of its storage. Storage of solar power is a challenge as the electricity produced from solar panels are intermittent and specially designed battery is required to effectively store this electricity and provide power optimally when required. The battery thus used is to be suitable to withstand daily charge-discharge cycle to work efficiently in Partial State of Charge situation and to be able to get recharged at a fast pace even at low/available current. C 10 type Solar Batteries of 2 Volts with Capacities starting from 200 AH to 1000 AH are supplied for Off-grid applications. For Higher capacities requirement, paralleling of batteries is needed. The brands supplied are EXIDE, HBL and Hi-Power. The offered batteries conforms to IS 1651 specification and have excellent Cycle life – 1500 cycles at 80% DOD & 7500 cycles at 20% DOD.
