Description   An O-Ring is a torus, or doughnut-shaped ring, generally molded from elastomers. An O-Ring is a circular cross-section ring molded from rubber.   Application & Usage   Generally there are two types of O-Ring applications. They are Static and Dynamic application.   Static Application: In this the O-Ring is fitted between the two non-moving/static parts so that O-Ring remains static in assembly.   Dynamic Application: In this the O-Ring is fitted between the two moving/dynamic parts so that O-Ring remains will face the dynamic gland movement.   Materials used   Nitrile Rubber, Silicone Rubber, Aflas, Fluoroelastomers like Viton A, B, GLT, GF, Fluorosilicone etc.), HNBR, Neoprene Rubber and AED applications etc.
