PV ModulesScalewatcher is an electronic water conditioner which is doing three things: 1. Prevention of scaling. 2. Descaling. (Removal of old deposited scales) 3. Anti-Rusting treatment. Prevention of scaling A signal cable is coiled on the pipe which is attached to the scalewatcher unit. The unit is generating an electromagnetic field which is alternating at a pace of 20 hertz to 5000 hertz per second. This alternation of field creates an electric field inside the pipe in form of concentric circles. Scalewatcher technology is using the Lorenz force taking advantages of both magnets and alloys to treat the water. When the negative particles in the water passes through the field (electromagnetic & electric), the zeta potential of the particle is disturbed and it starts acting like a magnet and attracts the free ions in the bulk of the water. This way crystallisation is promoted and the crystals formed as a result is free of any surface charge.
