It is a simple and proven technology to convert natural brine (sea water), by means of electrolysis into 1st grade sodium hypochlorite (ELECTRO HYPO) using RT CHLOR®-S SERIES hypochlorite generators ( electro chlorinator system). An instant process to produce disinfectant on-site, at the Point of Application. No chemicals other than natural brine(seawater) are used throughout the process. Seawater (natural brine) is fed through the electrolyser cell (chlorine generator cell). When a low voltage DC current is applied, electrolysis occurs and sodium hypo chlorite (NaOCl) is generated instantaneously.

MMO Anodes or Mixed Metal oxide coated Titanium anodes (electrodes) are anodes with a coating (layer) of mixed metal oxides like RuO2, IrO2, or PtO over its surface. MMO Anodes are used inside the electrolytic cells for producing free chlorine from saltwater in hypochlorite generation, brine or saltwater in swimming pools, in electrowinning of metals, in printed circuit board electroplating, in electro-galvanising of steel and for cathodic protection of buried or submerged structures.

With the chemical composition, Mg anodes can be classified as high potential magnesium anode & low potential Mg anodes.High potential magnesium anode is made from high purity Mg, which produce higher driving volte. So that it can be used for high resistivity soil. Low potential Mg alloy anodes are made out of magnesium alloy. This anode gives uniform current output and is used in low resistivity soils.

Graphite substrate lead dioxide anodes ( GSLD ) can be used in chlorate and perchlorate cells instead of platinum anodes, but if chromates or dichromates are present in the cells then the current efficiency will be reduced drastically.TiTaN 's Lead dioxide coated graphite anode ( PbO2 graphite anodes ) are known as " LEDGA " . Generally these anodes are called GSLD anodes.
