Sabudana Vada is one of those recipes that is made during religious fasting (vrat or upvas). This light and crispy sabudana vada is not only fun to eat snacks but also a preferred fasting food during fasting days and festivals like Navratri. This is also and easy kid's snacks that can be served in breakfast or packed in their lunch box. Ingredients: 1/2 cup sabudana (small tapioca pearls) 2 large potatoes boiled 1/4 cup peanuts roasted and coarsely crushed 1 teaspoon sesame seeds 1 green chilli deseeded and finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger 1/2 coriander leaves finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon sugar (optional) salt oil 1/3 cup water (to soak sabudana) HOW TO COOK? Thawing of product not required. Cook from frozen to get best results. DEEP FRY Preheat oil (max. temperature of 175ºC recommended). Deep fry for 3 minutes to a light golden colour. It is ready to cook further as per the recipe. Oven Bake Preheat oven 220ºC. Apply oil on both sides of the product. Arrange the product on single layer on baking tray. Bake for 10 min or until crispy brown. Remove and Serve hot. Can also be cooked in Air Fryer. Packaging Size: 380g, 500gm,
