The gate valves are designed to stop, allow or throttle the flow of a process fluid. Gate valves, one of the original valve designs, are ideally suited for onoff, primarily liquid, service. A gate valve functions by lifting a rectangular or circular gate out of the path of the fluid. When the valve is fully open, gate valves are full bore, meaning there is nothing to obstruct the flow because the gate and pipeline diameter have the same opening. This bore diameter also determines the valve size. An advantage of this full-bore design is very low friction loss, which saves energy and reduces total cost of ownership.

Globe & Gate Valves are linear motion Valve and are primarily designed to stop, start and regulate flow. Conventional Globe Valves may be used for isolation and throttling services. Although these Valves exhibit slightly higher pressure drops than straight through valves (e.g., gate, plug, ball, etc.), they may be used where the pressure drop through the Valve is not a controlling factor. We here at AEC use high quality and precision CNC machines for the manufacturing of Globe Valves which are of two types with Flange and without Flange. AEC are currently machining and manufacturing ½”,¾”, 1”, 1½”, 2” and 3” (inch) globe valves of classes 150 and 300.  We use various materials for Manufacturing but the most commonly used are 105, LF2, F316L and Steel Forged Valve. We have various consumers throughout the world and few of them are Flowserve, Caterpillar etc.
