In order to ensure the quality and length of the fibre selected high quality matured coconut husks are used for the extraction of fibre using state of the art machines. Coconut fiber is the fibrous material extracted from the outer shell of the coconut. It is used widely for making a variety of products including, mattresses and floor matting, ropes, seat fillers, furniture cushion, mats and rugs. There are two types of coconut fiber, Brown and white. White coconut fiber is made from young coconut while brows fibers are extracted from matured coconut. Both are available in 120 – 125 Kg bales.
