A Borewell compressor pump works by forcing compressed air into bore through a pipe. The compressed air and water mix together resulting in a mixture that is less dense than the surrounding water and therefore flows upward through the pipe. In submersible there are chances where the pump will dry run and cause motor failure. 4.Installation is much cheaper 5.Cost of repairing a submersible pump is very high as the pump will have to be pulled out from the bore. But the borewell compressor is always on ground level so any service can be done quick and cheap. 6.Borewell compressor is preferred in areas where there is a chance of bore collapsing. The submersible pump cannot be pulled out once the bore has collapsed. Despite the many advantages of borewell compressor there are few drawbacks such as, lower discharge compared to a submersible and high noise level if not isolated properly.
