The basic raw material in various grades i.e Electro Graphite, Metal Graphite, Natural Graphite, Hard Carbon etc., are purchased from internationally reputed sources. Dimensions of Carbon Brushes are specified according to DIN IEC 60136-3 in the sequence t x a x r. In order to avoid misinterpretation, we suggest to specify the dimensions in this sequence.

Carbon and Graphite materials are used in mechanical seals in cases where gases or liquids with low hydrodynamic lubricating action have to be sealed. it Can be supplied with a variety of surface finish. If the application permits, bearing in mind economy and manufacturing costs, storage and packaging, the following maximum surface finish criteria should be considered.

Base materials are Carbon Graphite and Resin Bonded Graphite, also manufactured with special impregnations (Antimony Copper Resin) depending upon the applications. The range of applications includes wet running, mixed and dry running. Carbon Graphite grades have very good dry running properties, particularly suited for dry as well as wet running applications in media with poor lubricating properties.
