Thrust Bearings for Submersible Motors
Krishnaveni Carbon Thrust / Radial Bearing Assemblies are manufactured for submersible motors to meet the dynamic /varying load conditions of bore-wells. The range of products starts from 0.5 HP to 200 HP and are suitable for 3 " to 12" submersible motors. Based on customer's needs, the Carbon Thrust Bearing Pads / Bushes can be given in either resin impregnated or metal impregnated form. Features High Wear Resistance Lower Co-efficient of Friction Self Lubricating Low Thermal Expansion Better Thermal Conductivity Self aligning segments to withstand fluctuating loads Improved efficiency due to the inherent properties of Carbon and that of high hardened, lapped and polished Stainless Steel Segments resulting in longer life.

Motion Control Rings and Segments
Motion Control Rings and Segments Motion Control Rings and Segments regulate automated production processes. Applications include cigarette production equipment and packaging machines. The use of Graphite eliminates oil based lubrication, an important advantage as the intermittent swiveling motion usually precludes the use of a hydrodynamic lubrication system. Carbon Graphite - Resin Impreganted for medium pressure : 8 - 14 kg/cm2 Carbon Graphite - Metal Impregnated for high pressure / high temperature Temperature up to 350 0C and pressure 14 kg/cm2 - 40 kg/cm2. Typical Applications Paper and Pulp Industries Textile Industries Food Processing Industries Pharmaceutical Industries Chemical Industries Cigarette Industries Compressors Fuel Dispensing Pumps

The basic raw material in various grades i.e electro graphite, metal graphite, natural graphite, hard carbon etc., are purchased from internationally reputed sources. typical applications include oems, railways, automotives, steel mills, paper mills, power stations, cement plants, sugar plants, domestic home appliances, power tools etc. from procurement of raw material to the finished product, various checks / testings are done to exceed the expectations of the customers. kcpl provides complete technical support to its customers in selection of appropriate grade and maintenance of their equipments for a trouble free operation. kcpl is fully geared up with an experienced sales team which remains in constant touch with the customers. dimension and designs of carbon brushes t = tangential - brush dimension in direction of rotation of commutator or slipring a = axial - brush dimension parallel to the axis of rotation r = radial - brush dimension perpendicular to the axis of rotation dimensions of carbon brushes are specified according to din iec 60136-3 in the sequence t x a x r. In order to avoid misinterpretation, we suggest to specify the dimensions in this sequence. the cross section of the flexible is determined according to a.m. Norm and din 46438. the length (l) of the flexible is the distance between the top of the brush and the centre of the terminal (see sketch). while ordering for brushes with special terminals (e.g. Plug-contact) the length (l) of the flexible should be measured in accordance with the sketch. in standard din 46224, recommendations are given for basic types and standards for dimensioning of plug types. pull load testing user industries oem railways automotives steel mills paper mills power stations cement plants sugar plants domestic home appliances power tools grades handled electro graphite (eg) metal graphite (mg) carbon graphite (cg) natural graphite (ng) hard carbon (hc) resin bonded (rb) silver graphite (sg

Carbon and Graphite Steam Joints
Steam Joints Steam Joints are sealing components between a steam pipe and a rotation assembly such as a shaft, cylinder or roller. The joint seals water, steam and oils. Further, it neutralises swing, pendular and tumbling motion. This functionality is normally achieved with a concave or convex seal ring surface which is pressed against the sealing surface with a spring. Certain configurations also have a cylindrical wearing surface. Steam Joints are exposed to all known lubrication conditions including wet, mixed and dry running.

Material Recommendations for Plain Bearings Base materials are Carbon Graphite and Resin Bonded Graphite, also manufactured with special impregnations (Antimony / Copper / Resin) depending upon the applications. The range of applications includes wet running, mixed and dry running. Carbon Graphite grades have very good dry running properties, particularly suited for dry as well as wet running applications in media with poor lubricating properties.
