Sannithi agro is a 5 year old startup basically into coir industry from the town Pollachi which supplies one third of coconut requirements of this beautiful subcontinent. Situated at Negamam, which is known for its six yard elegant traditional sarees and lushgreen coconut farms.
Here we have our coconut farm and our related coir business. Procuring coconut husk from our own farm and others we process them to get a premium long slender fibres with both off white and brown coir.
Off white fibres are then processed into two ply coir yarn at Sannithi Agro at a runnable of 150 - 200.Here we have a team of dedicated 10 people who work to bring out the premium yarn meeting the required specifications. Later, the yarn is spooled to 10-12 kg bundles which makes it convenient for transport.
My firm deals with both off white spool which has broad usage in coir mat making and as well as brown coir yarn used largely in Geo textiles ie.,bund building, etc.,.
Also ,the firm deals with birds nest made out of coir .
