A device that does both functions (holding the work and guiding a tool) is called a jig. an example of a jig is when a key is duplicated; the original is used as a jig so the new key can have the same path as the old one. in vertex we have joint venture with webtech engineering which manufactures wide range of jigs and fixtures for part holding for operations like welding, bending etc. we work on designs based on drawings or requirements. These tools are carefully manufactured which are low cost maintenance and durable products. These definitely increase the efficiency of the machine.
