Serious infections from H. influenzae, E. coli, Enterobacter aerogenes, Klebsiella pneumoniae.   Dosage : IV : Adult & Children : 25,000 units/kg/day in divided doses every 12 hours. Infants : Upto 25,000 units/kg/day (Intrathecal). IM : Adult & Children : 25,000–30,000 units/kg daily administered in divided doses at 4 to 6 hour intervals. Infants : Up to 40,000 units/kg daily.   Intrathecal Dose incase of P. aeruginosa meningitis.   Packing : 10 Vials of 500000 Units
