APEX a range of Piston Rings and Transmission Sealing Rings from 10mm to 155mm Diameter. The products manufactured by the company are marketed under the brands “APEX” and “AP-RIK”. APEX piston rings are used in shock absorbers, hydraulics, two wheelers, cars, Jeeps, LCV, Heavy commercial vehicles, tractors, compressors, industrial engines and Earth Moving vehicles like Caterpillar & Cummins engines. We have India's largest range of loose piston rings. Ring types include cast and chrome compression rings for four-stroke and two-stroke engines as well as plain oil (single piece cast iron) and multiple piece oil control rings. We also make transmission sealing rings. All rings are available as individual rings or as engine sets. APEX not only have a range of over 1000 piston rings in the catalogue, but also manufacture hundreds of one-off "specials" every year. These "specials" can be for rare or unusual engines or for specific requirements such as racing or for piston rings that we do not have in the range. If we do not list a piston ring then there is a good chance that we have made it before at some stage. 

Piston rings & transmission Sealing rings are produced by APEX under one roof from Foundry to finished product. Cast iron material is produced by APEX in its own foundry using induction furnaces controlling the melting Parameters and allowing the production of a wide variety of first class alloyed material. Gray cast Piston Rings are machined from the single formed sand casting. Regular Iron, a prelatic medium phosphorous Gray iron is the most common basic material for piston rings due to its inherent wear resistance, good mach inability and relatively low cost. The grades of alloyed Gray cast iron heat treated to the proper hardness and will the necessary martenistic micro structure and higher physical properties, which are generally used for a Top Ring.
