Arogya Bhavanam, this Centre for Panchakarma and Kerala Specialities, is an associated division of Ayush Ayurveda Hospital, Ottappalam, Kerala, under Panchakarma expert Dr. P.K. Sudarsan Nair, MD (Ay.), which is well known for ayurvedic treatments for 15 years. Dr. P.K.Sudarsan Nair is a retired Asst. Director In-charge of National Research Institute for Panchakarma, Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Science (CCRAS), Dept of AYUSH, Govt. of India, Cheruthuruthy, Kerala. He has done graduation and Post graduation in Kayachikitsa (Panchakarma) from Govt Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. 34 years with CCRAS in clinical research and practice in Ayurveda, particularly in Panchakarma, he is presently the Chief Consultant of Ayush Ayurveda Hospital, Ottappalam, Kerala and this Centre. He also heads the Research Foundation of Vaidyaratnam Oushadasala, Ollur, Kerala. While in CCRAS, he has developed specialized treatments for chronic neurological, neuromuscular and rheumatological problems incorporating ayurvedic panchakarma therapy and Kerala Specialities.
Dr. P.K. Sudarsan Nair is available for consultation at Arogya Bhavanam for 5 to 10 days every month and this Centre is equipped with videoconferencing facility for consultation with patients of this Centre from his Kerala Centre. He is assisted by Dr. Mridula, MD (Ay.) who is the resident doctor at Arogya Bhavanam and is in charge of day to day functioning of this Centre.
This Centre is designed and equipped for special treatments with attentive team of professionally qualified ayurvedic doctors and professionally trained and experienced therapists. Moreover, we use and prescribe medicines manufactured by Vaidyaratnam Oushadasala, which is considered to be a synonym of quality and excellence in Ayurveda. All medicine compositions prepared by them are as per authentic old texts of Ayurveda and all their medicine manufacturing units are certified by GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO 9001-2008.
