For process heating application, BABA-THERM liquid heater can be substituted against steam or electricity. Instead of pressurized hot water or steam, the BABA-THERM product uses Thermic fluids for heat transfer. Simple closed circuit system is used. Temperatures upto 300° C can be obtained with an accuracy of  ą 1%, at a low working pressure of 2.5 kg/cm (approx.). The BABA-THERM product is designed on the coil type once through, forced circulation principle to use the heat transfer fluids without risk of chemical degradation. DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTION The internal combustion is used to accommodate concentric helical tube machine wound coil, (fabricated out of ERW Boiler tube as per 3059). This coil is placed in a double shell of mid steel construction. This type of  design helps in economizing the space and simultaneously ensures optimum rate of heat release. Due to elimination of extensive use of refractory, it permits rapid start up and operational and maintenance flexibility. The complete BABA-THERM product is supplied in a shop assembled and ready to install condition. Only the chimney, fuel and thermic fluid pipelines have to be connected.

BABA-THERM Steam Generator is the latest design in coil type boilers using reverse flame technology. The furnace is made of an air tight helical coil of membrane - wall construction, placed inside an assembly & double jacketed MS shell and aluminium radiator. Combustion air is forced through the jacketed shell, thereby getting pre heated   and keeping the outer shell cool. The pressure jet burner atomises the fuel and preheated air helps in completing combustion. The fues gases are reversed in the furnace, resulting in two radiant heat transfer passes and the third convective pass between coil and inner shell. The flue gases further transfer heat to the economizer for preheating feed water. Especially designed heat optimizer protects the feed water pump from high feed water temperature, thus enhancing the life of the pump. These special features make BABA-THERM a very reliable and highly fuel efficient package boiler.   REVERSE FLAME TECHNOLOGY The flame reverses within the furnace and thereafter passes along with the membranes wall provided. Due to this, the flame has a longer residence time for total combustion. The reverse flame technology ensures a very high radiation heat transfer and complete combustion. LOW FUEL CONSUMPTION BABA-THERM reverse flame Steam generator has a very high fuel efficiency of 88% (NCV). This is due to Complete combustion in reversing flame and extensive heat absorption. The fuel oil burner is a horizontal firing, pressure atomizing, forced draught type with direct electric spar ignition. The fuel oil pump with combustion blower is mounted on the burner casing on the front side of the unit, a fuel oil filter is mounted at a convenient position near the pump and is connected to the oil inlet port of the pump. The electrical Components used as: L&T, NGEF/Siemens/Cromption etc.   CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES High Temperature Heater: The main constituents of the "Baba-Therm" Hot Air Heater/Furnace are the casing (which consist of insulation), the combustion chamber fabricated out of stainless steel smoke tube/membrane, a flue gas outlet, fuel oil burner and ventilation blower. Low Temperature Heater: The main constituents of the low temperature heater are the same as above except that the material of construction is carbon steel. The casing fabricated out of heavy gauge steel sheets is double jacketed to provide efficient air insulation. The ventilation blower fan fitted at the bottom of the unit blows air upwards over the combustion chamber and the nest of smoke tubes/partition. The hot air from the plenum chamber, at the top of the unit, is ducted away to the required places. Air is sucked through lowered panels at the bottom, a flame viewing door with glass is provided on the opposite side of burner.
