TarFelt APP is normally used in protected roofing and waterproofing applications in a single layer system and is recommended as base layer in multilayer system for various applications including damp proofing. Application : TarFelt APP membrane is ideal for a wide range of waterproofing applications including roofs, reservoirs, basements, basement roof, sunken slabs, tunnels, terrace garden and car parking. TarFelt APP may be used as a virtual self-adhesive waterproofing membrane in combination with ShaliBond APP and can be applied to the surface without any torching or application of heat. Advantages : Total impermeability. Excellent resistance to ageing and weathering. Outstanding bond-ability and seam integrity. Stability at high temperatures. Very high resistance to impact and puncture. Simple, single-layer installation reduces labour and error. Good cold flexibility. Application Methodology : Clean the surface thoroughly to make it smooth and free of any foreign material. Ensure the clean surface is free from damp and wet condition. Apply ShaliBond APP uniformly on the substrate, approx. @ 500 grm/m2 (theoretical, depend upon surface condition) by trowel / brush and allow the solvent to evaporate. Unroll TarFelt APP over the tacky surface and bond it to the surface by applying uniform pressure. For membrane to membrane lap joint area, one membrane has to be rubbed by wire brush before applying the adhesive for better adhesion. Cut 1” deep grove 300 - 450 mm above the roof surface on the parapet wall and seal the edge of TarFelt APP inside the groove with polymer modified mortar. Seal all the corners of membrane with the ShaliBond APP for getting better result. Allow 3-4 days for full dry. For UV protection, TarFelt APP waterproofing membrane shall be finally coated with Super Silver Shield for non trafficable roof. For trafficable roof, TarFelt APP Waterproofing system shall be protected with PCC of 50 mm thick / tiles loosely laid or fixed over a layer of 120 – 150 gsm ShaliGeoText, spot bonded to TarFelt APP membrane with ShaliBond APP. Health & Safety : Use goggles, hand gloves, gum boots and nose mask during application. Clean hands with warm water after application. Closed spaces should be properly ventilated. Cut SEJ Board of appropriate width from the desired thickness and place the same in the groove in a way to flush with the external surface except for space required for ShaliBar / other sealants. In case of a new casting, SEJ Board of appropriate width is fixed with copper screws before pouring concrete. The width is designed to flush with the external surface except for space required for ShaliBar / other sealants. In highway construction, SEJ Board is placed appropriately 20 mm below surface of finish level of pavement and filled with ShaliTex Sealing Compound / ShaliJet Sealing Compound / ShaliSeal PS. Health & Safety : Use goggles and hand gloves during application. Clean hands with warm soap water after application. Packing : Available in 12, 18 & 25 mm board normally in 8 ft x 4 ft. Our Multi Purpose Anti Corrosive Black Bituminous Coating named TankMastic is an especially formulated anti-corrosive, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic and black bituminous coating. It is used for protecting the internal surface of storage water tanks, pipes, etc. from corrosion. Our TankMastic conforms to IS: 9862/1981 as well IS: 158/1981 standards. TankMastic is ideal for coating insides of masonry or steel water tanks and various other applications. Application : TankMastic® provides corrosion protection coating to all types of iron, steel including drums, and masonry or concrete surfaces for fixing glass panels on building elevation. It, being non-toxic / odourless, is suitable for coating insides of masonry / steel water tanks. Advantages : It is easily applicable by brush/spray gun. It dries rapidly leaving black glossy finish. The resultant film is tough and elastic and does not crack easily due to structural movements. It is resistant to diluted acids and alkalis. It is non-toxic and does not impart odour or taste to water or other contents in contact. Application Methodology : The base metal should be cleaned thoroughly by sand blasting or otherwise. Before application, surface should be totally dry, free from moisture, oil, grease, mill scale or rust. For better performance, a coat of ShaliTex® Primer is recommended on metallic surfaces, However, for concrete or other porous surfaces, a coat of ShaliTex® Primer is pre-requisite. ShaliTex® Primer should be allowed to dry hard before TankMastic® is applied TankMastic® must be stirred properly before applying by brush or spray gun. Two coats of TankMastic® are recommended for concrete and three coats for metallic surfaces. Health & Safety : Lid of the container should be firmly fixed, when not in use. TankMastic® shall have no harmful reaction, when it comes in contact with drinking water. Use goggles and hand gloves during application. Clean hands with warm soap water after application Packing Available in 1 L, 4 L, 20 L and 200 L drum. Storage : Keep in cool and dry place in air tight container under shed away from heat.

ShaliCrete URP
ShaliCrete URP that we offer is a multipurpose, economical and ready-to-use bonding agent available in liquid form. It is used as universal repair product (URP) for bonding coat for concrete, repair additive for concrete or mortars, waterproofing applications, protective coating for cementitious substrates, etc. ShaliCrete URP is also used in cladding that includes tiles or marble bedding and external rendering. It improves strength and is weather resistant. Application : Repair & Rehabilitation of concrete. Waterproofing mortars / concretes including terrace, toilets, chajjas, lift pits, balconies, masonry walls and slopping RCC roofs. Bedding for tiles / marbles. Bonding slurry. External rendering. General reconstruction work and latex modified overlays and topping. Advantages : Easy application by brush. Excellent concrete modifier. Withstands chloride ion diffusion & sulphate/CO2 attack due to marine or industrial weather. Improves bond strengths to hardened concrete. Dense, impermeable, mortar for column & beam repairs. Reduces rate of corrosion when applied on steel bars. Reduces cracking through increased mortar flexural strength. Increases mortar wear resistance under rubber wheeled traffic. Increases mortar tensile strength. Application Methodology : Ensure that concrete is 3 days old if ShaliCrete URP is used as a slurry bond coat. Do not place slurry coat on standing water. Ensure that the concrete is clean and rough. Remove all oil, dirt, debris, paint and unsound concrete. The surface must be prepared mechanically using a scrubber, bush hammer, shot blast or scarifier. which will give a surface profile of a minimum 3 mm and expose the large aggregate of the concrete. Use vacuum cleaner or pressure washing to ensure thorough cleaning and removal of all residue. Ensure all concrete possess an open surface texture with all curing compounds and sealers removed. Pre-wet all areas to reduce moisture loss. Do not place product on standing water. To ensure durability and quality of repair or overlay, follow proper curing procedures. Maintain moist cure for 24 – 72 hrs to prevent surface cracking, As Bonding Agent : Mix ShaliCrete URP and cement in the ratio of 1 : 3 by weight. Apply a single coat by brush over the prepared surface. Do not dilute ShaliCrete URP for using as primer. Apply fresh concrete / mortar over the bonding coat while it is tacky. For Repairs : Apply bonding coat by mixing ShaliCrete URP and cement in 1 : 3 by weight and apply by brush a single coat over the prepared surface. Prepare mortar with 50 kg cement, 150 kg dry sand, 7-8 Kg of ShaliCrete URP and 10- 12 L of water to make a trowel-able mix. Apply repair mortar at a thickness of 15 mm or more, when the bond coat is still tacky. Finish with trowel for smoothness. For Waterproofing : Repair all cracks in the prepared surface thoroughly with PlastiSeal. Prepare slurry of cement and ShaliCrete URP in 4 : 1 proportion by weight with suitable addition of water. Apply the first coat when the surface is in touch dry condition and allow it to dry for about 4 hrs. Apply second coat and allow it to air cure for at least 72 hrs. Protect the coating with a cement screed at least 25 mm thick, admixed with ShaliPlast LW. Repair of Structural Beams / Columns : Apply bonding coat by mixing ShaliCrete URP and cement in 1 : 3 by weight and apply by brush a single coat over the prepared surface. Prepare polymer mortar with 50 kg cement, 100 kg dry sand, 200 kg 6 mm down size washed aggregate, 8-10 Kg ShaliCrete URP and 10-15 L of water to obtain a flowable mix. Execute structural repairs for columns & beams by applying polymer mortar. This can also be used for floor screed and PCC. This is a dry pack method to build up the spalled areas of the cover zone concrete and has high compressive and tensile strengths. Finish with trowel or wood batten. Note : Follow mixing using drill machine fitted with paddle or small mixer machine. Place the topping on the slurry coat before the slurry coat dries out On large floor areas, use screed strips as guides in combination with vibratory screeding to level. Compact and finish by hand or machine trowel. Slurry Application : Spread the slurry with a stiff bristle broom until the suggested coverage rate is achievedCleaning & Maintenance : Clean tools and equipment with water before the material hardensHealth & Safety : Use goggles and hand gloves and mask during application. Clean hands with warm soap water after application. Packaging : Available in 5 kg, 20 kg & 200 kg drum.Storage : Keep in cool and dry place under shed away from heat.Shelf Life : 12 months in original unopened sealed condition.

Minimize dusting of the material during use. Ensure that surface is sound, firm, bone dry. Apply ShaliPrime SM in case of concrete roads. Add one bag of ShaliMark in pre-heater and allow it to melt. Keep on adding ShaliMark one bag at a time and allow it to melt before adding another bag, depending upon the capacity of pre-heater. Do not allow temperature to rise beyond 210 oC. Ideally melt ShaliMark between 180 –210 oC. Offload the hot melted ShaliMark in application unit and keep on stirring it with in-built stirrer of application unit. Mark reference line on surface with nylon rope and chalk prior to application. Apply melted ShaliMark within the reference lines by the application unit. Type II Drop – On glass beads (BS 6088) shall be dispensed from the in-built dispenser of application unit @ 250- 300 grm/m2 simultaneously. Finish lines shall be true to level, uniform and free from streaks. If the application can not be done using application unit, approved manual method shall be adopted. Proper safety measures shall be taken to ensure smooth progress of work. Health & Safety : Minimize dusting of ShaliMark during use. Use goggles, mask, nose cover and hand gloves during application. Clothing while handling the material is recommended. Clean hands with warm soap water after application. Do not inhale ShaliMark or fumes, do not ingest. Avoid eye contact, if contacted, wash copiously with water. Contact of molten product with skin would lead to thermal burns, flush with cold water, do not remove material as it would lead to severe tissue damage. Packing : Available in 25 kg HDPE bag. Storage : Keep in cool dry place in air tight place under shed away from heat. Shelf Life : 12 months in original unopened sealed condition.
