For optimum results it should be applied on a winch or a jigger at a pH of 5 - 5.5. Treatment time should be 15 - 20 minutes at room temperature. It can also be applied on a padding mangle. The temperature of drying should be 120oC. Because of its cationic nature, other ingredients of the padding solution would be checked for compatibility. It can be is easily soluble in warm water. It can be dissolved in about five times the quantity of warm water with proper stirring. Further dilution can be effected with cold water.
