For studying the gas sensing response a based sample cell was designed to expose the gas sensitive film with the target gas. SPR reflectance curve was recorded while target gas was of known concentration was inserted inside the gas cell using photo detector and rotation stage in the static mode. In dynamic mode of sensing, the incident angle is kept fixed and change in the minimum reflectance is monitored using CCD camera with time. A CCD camera interfaced with a computer was provided as optional to record the intensity of reflected light at a fixed angle of incident.
