The GGE -Guascor lean burn, electronically carbureted, SFGLD engine series ranges from 252 to 985 kWb and provides excellent installation solutions for co- and tri-generation configurations. These engines have been designed to operate with accurate conditions thanks to the electronic devices, for the control of the combustion features providing higher performance at minimum emissions. This engine series is commonly used in cogeneration facilities with natural gas at high temperatures in cooling circuits and with biogas in various applications where electrical efficiency, easy operation and service, and high flexibility of operation are required.

The GGE-Guascor® electronically carbureted, Miller cycle, SFGM engine series ranges from 1055 to 1100 kWb. This engine series provides excellent installation solutions for co- and tri-generation configurations. These engines have been designed to operate with Miller cycle which provides maximum efficiency and higher MEP than standard Otto cycle engines. This engine series is commonly used in facilities where a fast response to load changes is required, due to the fact that standard families of turbocharges is being used in Miller cycle configuration.

Using cogeneration to produce hot water for heating systems is widespread in all of India. Since the demand for heating varies according to the seasons, a cogeneration systems would not be profitable if heat generated by the cogeneration modules were not used in the summer. In summer, what really needed is cold water for air conditioning, and this is usually obtained by means of high power-consuming refrigerating compressors.
