We’ll provide solutions.   Graphite Tiles It is made from low ash, hard calcined grade Electro graphite powders which are selected carefully and mixed with bituminous binders in varying proportions. The mix is then extruded or moulded as per requirement and heated to high temperatures in a furnace. The stock material formed has high porosity around 25%. Since its mechanical strength and abrasion resistance is not adequate, the product is impregnated with resins of unmatched chemical resistance, in vacuum autoclaves depending on duty service. The final material is thus made impervious to liquids and gases. This process greatly improves all physical properties such as compressive and impact strength, abrasive resistance, bringing down porosity of the brick to minimum. The process through cumbersome has found to be unique in combating any chemical attack of corrosion and abrasion at elevated temperatures. It has been established that Impervious graphite materials withstand continuously temperatures up to 190°C and such linings have been known to be working for years, trouble free. A process to make synthetic graphite was invented by Edward Goodrich Acheson (1856–1931). In the mid-1890s, Acheson discovered that overheating carborundum, which he is also credited with discovering, produced almost pure graphite. While studying the effects of high temperature on carborundum, he had found that silicon vaporizes at about 4,150 °C (7,500 °F), leaving behind graphitic carbon. This graphite was another major discovery for him, and it became extremely valuable and helpful as a lubricant. In 1896 Acheson received a patent for his method of synthesizing graphite, and in 1897 started commercial production. The Acheson Graphite Co. was formed in 1899. Acheson also developed a variety of colloidal graphite products including Oildag and Aquadag. These were later manufactured by the Acheson Colloids Co.

Due to its laminar structure, Flexible Graphite exhibits very high degree of expansion, and fills-in even any microscopic deficiency in the mating surfaces their-by providing a perfect seal. Commonly used gasketing sheets are made out of fiberous materials, wherein fibers of various types are bonded together with elestomers and binders, how so ever good the fiberous material be, but when subjected to extreme conditions of high temperatures, pressures, thermal shocks , these elestomers and binders either get charred away or harden their- by leaving the composite structure prone to leakages. Flexible Graphite Sheets are mechanically bonded to tanged steel sheets. this no-reorque composite structure with above stated properties is now ready for cutting in any desired shape and size.
