In circulating cooling water : Induced air brings in with it suspended matter continuously and its concentration in circulating water keeps rising. Its deposits on condenser tubes/plates and cooling tower internals cause a rise in compressor power consumption. Chilled water flow has to be increased to get the temperatures required-raising the power consumption.
