Wrap Reel
The Wrap Reel is used for making leas for strength testing and count testing. The leas are either imperial leas having a swift perimeter of one and half yards with 80 turns or metric leas having swift perimeters of one meter with 100 turns. The yarn is spread uniformly in a band of 20mm as the leas are formed. Upto 5 - 10 leas can be formed at one time, if the arms of the reel can be docked to facilitate the removal of the leas from the reel. The number of turns is indicated on a counter. In case of motor operated Wrap Reel, a fractional horse power motor controlled by a pre-set counter is provided to give the movement to the reel. An electromagnetic brake is provided to stop the movement of the reel almost instantaneously to reduce the chances of overtravel.
...moreWashing Fastness Tester
We are offering washing fastness tester. The washing fastness tester is used for determining colour fastness of textile materials to washings. This is attained by mechanically agitating a specimen of textile in contact with pieces of specified adjacent fabrics in a soap – soda solution. Before being rinsing and dried. The change in colour of specimen and stains of the adjacent fabrics are assessed with standard grey scale.
...moreTraverse Thread Counter
The Traverse Thread Counter consists of traveling microscope fitted on basic plate having a translucent plastic panel illuminated from below. The viewing arrangement consists of the microscope fitted on a traveling carriage which can be moved over two rods with the help of a screw. The microscope has a 10 x eye piece, and achromatic object glass. Focusing is done with the help of rack and pinion arrangement. The fabric to be tested is placed on the translucent panel, and a built in swivable gauge having openings of different lengths is lowered over it. The total number of threads in the fabric in any one opening is counted by manually operating a stroke counter fitted on the apparatus as the cross line graticule of the microscope travels over them.
...moreTensile Strength Tester
we offer tensile strength and elongation are the two price characteristics of most of the raw materials. whether they are metals or non-metals such as rubber leather textiles plastic paper or finished products such as rods wires ropes, yarns, belts etceteras. these two properties often play a major role in determining the suitability of any raw materials for any specified application. it is therefore, of utmost importance to determine these characteristics accurately, conveniently, and quickly.
...moreshade card winding machine
The 'Innolab' Shade Card Winding Machine consists of a set of grips between which the card is held with the help of knurling bolts. There is an arrangement to rotate both grips at a time. Yarn is wind over the Shade Card at equal spacing under a desired tension. The yarns are guided on the shade card with the help of yarn guides, which are moves parallel to the shade card with the help of the wormworm wheel and camfollower mechanism. The guide is positively linked to the rotation of the shade card with the help of the wormworm wheel, shaft and camfollower mechanism. There are a set of spring loaded adjustable tensioning arrangement provide the desired tension to the yarn. For holding the reels, there is a stand on which the holding pins and guides for yarn etc. are mounted for easy movement of the yarns. The equipment is built on the fabricated base. It is finished in metallic or deco painting and bright chrome zinc plating to give it a corrosion resistant finish.

The equipment is suitable for all types of textiles except photocrometic coloured textiles. The unit consists of a hollow cylinder of metal open at both ends with an internal dia of -18" & length of 18" A 500 W MBTL fading Lamp is mounted centrally so that the light distribution is constant around the circumference. An hour meter with buzzer and an hour totaliser are mounted on the base. Four specimen holders are installed at equidistance in inner circumference of cylinder alongwith metal sheet mask to cover half of each test specimen & the standards. As temperature may touch upto 800 C constant cooling arrangement with water flow is provided. A horizontal pump and water tank are included in scope of supply.
...moreLea Strength Tester
The Lea strength of yarn is one of the major properties on which the suitability of yarn for its ultimate end use depends. The test for determination of Lea strength consists of making a lea from the yarn with the help of a wrap reel and testing it on the lea strength tester which registers the maximum load at which the lea starts unraveling.

Clamp the yarn in the clamp fixed on the motor shaft. A guide is provided on the clamp for easy clamping. Pull the other end of yarn through the clamp on the moving crosshead had while clamping ensure that yarn is clamped for proper test length and yarn is free and under correct tension of weight. This is necessary to have uniform length of yarn between the clams under fixed tension to get proper repeatability of the results. Select SZ switch in S or Z position depending upon type of yarn. Put the main switch ON and press the ‘RESET’ push button to ensure zero reading on the digital display unit. Select the motor speed to high speed position. Select ‘NORMAL’ position for initial operation. Start the motor using ‘START STOP’ switch. The motor will now start untwisting the yarn and DIGITAL DISPLAY will start counting. After reaching approx. 90% of expected TPM reading, it is recommended to lower the motor speed to minimum possible to get better results. By using ‘ADJ knob’ the motor can be run in very slow to moderate slow speed, or if motor stops completely test can be run manually by pushing motor shaft by hand. The instrument carries a guarantee for 12 month for free repairs against any manufacturing defects. However this guarantee is void in case of any physical damage or attempted repairs at customer’s end. The instrument is required to be sent to our works at customer’s expenses for claiming warranty services.
