The greige belting fabrics and tyre cords are woven and dipped at pre-determined temperature, tension and time to achieve the desired properties. Due to the availability of the fabric division it has made it possible for the group to constantly grow in both the fields of fabric as well as textile conveyor belting by cutting down lead time of fabric procurement enabling improved and timely delivery schedules.

Rubber Transmission Belts
Jonson transmission belts are manufactured from evenly laid piles of closely woven hardsoft cotton duck impregnated with special rubber compound. The piles of fabric are pre-stretched and vulcanized under high pressure to provide strength and flexibility. Jonson high speed, super & steel belt are made from hard duck confirming to bis : 1370. The square edges of jonson transmission belts are treated with special quoting to prevent ingress of moisture and to resist edge wear. Jonson transmission belts are also available in round folded edges. Construction features: width - 25mm to 1200mm, length - 100mtr roll length, fabric - hard cotton ducksoft cotton ducksynthetic fabrics, piles - 2 piles to 12 piles, type of edges - cut edges and roundfoulded edges, colour - beige, grey, camel, yellow, black and other colours as per customer requirements. Jonson transmission belts for all drives and speeds and are available in width range 1 inch (25mm) to 48 inches (1200mm) with 2 to 8 piles.

CHEVRON BELTING
Jonson chevron belts are used primarily when the angle of incline becomes too steep for a smooth conventional conveyor belt. The belt is fitted with integrally moulded cleats which prevent the material from sliding backwards as would be the case with a smooth surface belt. Different cleat designs allow the carrying of many types of material, from bulk solids to unit loads. Jonson chevron conveyor belts are produced with integrally moulded profiles fitted into the belt's top cover during manufacture. The shape of the chevron profiles has been carefully designed to assure excellent smooth return side support on full width return idlers and good self cleaning properties. Incline angles achievable depend upon the material's characteristics and the type of belt selected. Jonson chevron belting offers a variety of pattern types to suit most applications and have the advantage of being integrally moulded as part of the top surface and are suitable for jointing by vulcanizing or by mechanical fasteners.
