Tinplate
Jove Steels Pvt. Ltd. is backed by a dedicated team and professionals who have vast experience in procurement and selling of Tin Mill Products. Tinplate (ETP) is a thin steel sheet coated by tin. It has an extremely beautiful metallic luster as well as excellent properties in corrosion resistance, solderability and weldability. Electrolytic Tinplate (ETP) undoubtedly enjoys the pride of place as a packaging medium especially for food. The free tin layer is not only responsible for the attractive bright finish and ease of solderability but is also non-toxic a factor of vital importance in food packaging!Tinplate (ETP) is also used in containers for oils, grease, paints, powders, polishes, waxes, chemicals and many other products. Aerosol containers and caps and closures are also made from tinplate.Tinplate (ETP) is an eco-friendly packaging material offering 100 percent recyclability and is also biodegradable which makes environment conscious companies to shift from plastic to Tinplate (ETP) as preferred packing medium.

Tin Free Steel (TFS) is an electrolytic chrome plated steel consisting of a thin layer of chromium and a layer of chromium oxide deposited on the steel base which gives it a beautiful, lustrous metallic finish on both sides. TFS offers outstanding corrosion resistance, lacquer adhesion as well as printability. No wonder it’s an economical and high quality replacement for Tinplate (ETP), especially for the screw and crown cap market.

...moreprepainted steel
Compared with single part spraying or brushing on the surface of forming metal, the coating quality of color-coated steel plate is more uniform, stable and ideal. Pre-painted steel plate is characterized of excellent decoration, mold ability, corrosion resistance, strong coating adhesive force and can keep the novel luster for a long time. It can realize highly effective construction business requirements and it has become the ideal composite material in household appliance, light industry, machinery, electronics and other industries.

...moreHeavy Melting Scrap
Heavy melting Scrap (HMS) is basically recyclable steel and wrought iron. It is broken up into two major categories: HMS 1 and HMS 2. The difference between the two is HMS 1 does not contain galvanized and blackened steel, whereas HMS 2 does. The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries breaks up the categories further:ISRI 200 (HMS 1): Wrought iron and/or steel scrap 1⁄4 inch and larger in thickness. All pieces must be smaller than 60×24 in.ISRI 201 (HMS 1): Same as ISRI 200 except pieces must be smaller than 36×18 inches.ISRI 202 (HMS 1): Same as ISRI 200 except pieces must be smaller than 60×18 inches.ISRI 203 (HMS 2): Wrought iron and/or steel scrap, black and galvanized, 1⁄8 inch and larger in thickness.ISRI 204 (HMS 2): Same as ISRI 203 except pieces must be smaller than 36×18 inches.ISRI 205 (HMS 2): Same as ISRI 204 except it may contain automotive scrap except for thin gauge material.ISRI 206 (HMS 2): Same as ISRI 205 except pieces must be smaller than 60×18 inchesHMS stands for heavy melting scrap, and 1 & 2 are the two grades within that definition. They are widely traded, particularly in the western hemisphere. Both HMS 1 & 2 comprise obsolete scrap only. That is iron and steel recovered from items demolished or dismantled at the end of their life.Because both grades guarantee a minimum piece thickness – at least 1/4inch (6.3mm) for HMS 1, and 1/8in for HMS 2 – consignments have a high density. Both also have defined maximum dimensions (usually 60in x 24in), and should be prepared to facilitate handling and charging to a furnace. This density, sizing and preparation makes for efficient furnace operation by minimizing the time to charge enough scrap for a full melt. In contrast, thin mixed scrap greatly increases charging time, cutting furnace productivity.Variations on maximum piece size are covered by ISRI (North America’s Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries) codes. HMS is usually traded as a blend of 1 & 2, either a premium blend (80:20) or lower grade mixes (70:30) and (60:40). Other major heavy scrap grades include Japan’s H2 and A3 from the CIS.
...moreGalvanized Steel
Galvanized Steel is obtained by passing cold rolled coil through a molten zinc bath, in order to coat the steel with a thin layer of zinc to provide corrosion resistance. Hot dipped galvanized coil can be found on the market in coil or in sheets (plan and corrugated).Galvanized Steel is used in non-food applications like Air Conditioning & Heating Ducts, Automotive Under-body parts & mufflers, Coolers, Refrigerators, Water Heaters, Stoves, Roofing Sheets, Barricading, Cladding and Facades. It is primarily used in Construction industry, Automotive industry, Household Appliance industry and Refrigeration industry.

Cold rolled steel is a ‘flat’ steel product. The material is manufactured from hot rolled steel, the thickness of which is further reduced on a strip mill without the use of heat. The resulting thinner and flatter material is known as cold rolled steel. Typical thickness is from 0.15 to 3 mm. Typical width is from 600 to 2,100 mm.
