These casting mainly vary from medium to high carbon with verifying alloying elements. Austenitic steel casting contain 11% to 14% manganese. These are work hardening type of steels. In operation, the surface hardens up to and above 450 BHN, While retaining high level of impact and toughness. Ni- Hard range is alloy irons with NI ranging from 3 to 5% and Cr from 2 to 9%.
