OBROMAX laminar Air Flow also called laminar hood is an enclosed bench which is designed to provide air flow vertically or horizontally in a way to protect all laboratories or raserch work from contaminants and suspended particles which can reduce the efficiency or may destroy the results of research or laboratory work. OBROMAX LAF is a closed cabinet which is mainly constructed from high grade stainless steel or without any gap so that there would be any joints or gap where suspended particles can accumulate. Air is drawn through HEPA (high efficiency particulate air filters) or ULPA (ultra efficiency particulate air filters) filters in a stream line flow to protect personnel and products OBROMAX Laminar air flow is equipped with a shortwave UV germicidal lamp for sterilization of working platform or cabinet, which should be turned on about 10-15 minutes before using the hood to kill the germs or to sterilize the working environment.

Interior surface are epoxy painted for its longer life. The work table is made of thick board which is sunmica clad at top. Side panels are made out of thick transparent plexi glass duly framed. Filters having efficiency rating as high as 99.99% with cold DOP and 99.97% with hot DOP, thus retaining all air borne particles of size 0.3 micron and larger.
