The "welt" is a strip of leather which is sewn around the bottom edge of a shoe. This stitching attaches the welt to both the insole and the upper of the shoe. The welt is folded out to form a point of attachment for the outer sole.  

      Shoe soles can be made out of a variety of products, depending on the type of shoe and its purpose. We are importers, stockist, wholesaler and retailers of high quality vegetable tanned leathers, Indian leather, Cow crust and Finished upper leathers since 2004 mostly from Argentine, Italy and within India. Our target market is mainly premium shoe exporters, sole manufacturers, leather belt manufacturers, leather tool kits manufacturers and exporters, shoe compenents manufacturers and saddleries
