Description : It is a low alloy basic coated electrode designed to give tough weld metal avoiding temper brittleness. Suitable for welding low alloy high tensile steel, structural steel including quenched and tempered steel such as HY-80, USST 1 and A517 grades, gives X-ray quality weld. The extra low hydrogen content ensures complete freedom from Hydrogen induced cracking in the weld deposit. The weld metal also displays good impact strength at sub-zero temperatures down to minimum -50ºC.Applications : The electrode operates with ease in all positions.
