The term Meranti applies to one of a large number of species of Shore, which is a dominant hardwood genus in Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand. It is a light hardwood, with heartwood ranging in color from light pink to light brown; the sapwood is a lighter variant, usually with a grayish tinge. Texture is coarse but even, with interlocked grains. We offer first grade round Meranti Woods in various sizes ranging from 3m to 10m.
