The remarkable properties of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) are well known, notably its low coefficient of friction, non stick surface characteristic, wide working temperature range from -180°C to + 260°C. Excellent weathering resistance and corrosion resistance. Expanded PTFE unsintered tape makes from pure PTFE. It has an expanded network composed of superfine fibers and joints. The combination of flexibility, high longitudinal strength, and easy deforming ability in the transverse direction makes expanded PTFE unsintered tape very suitable for packing and thread sealing applications. But it is not suitable for use in certain critical applications, for example when contact with high concentration of gaseous oxygen or liqud oxygen is involved.

Braided packing is made of different fibers according to different applications. There are packings made of carbon fiber, PTFE fiber, aramid fiber, glass fiber and mixed fiber of aramid and carbon fiber. It offers better lubrication, corrosion resistance, low abrasion and easy to inlay and dismount and it is widely used for pump and valves. Temperature -180°C - +200°C.Applications :PTFE braided packing is used for the packing of pumps and valves.

PTFE gasket tape is a kind of dynamic seal. It is produced by braiding together, continuous tape of expanded PTFE. PTFE gaskets are one of the most suitable types of gaskets for a variety of sealing applications and are mostly based on virgin PTFE or filled PTFE. PTFE gaskets provide an extensive range of applicability.   PTFE is a fluoro polymer, which features an outstanding chemical resistivity to almost all chemicals, has good thermal insulation properties, and useful mechanical and processing characteristics. These PTFE features can be usefully applied in PTFE gaskets. They can be mostly used in valve seats, bearings, requested to resin sliding and chemicals, elastic bands for an-lubricated compressors, O-rings where elastomers can not withstand. An extended range of improved mechanical and processing properties can be additionally reached by a combination of virgin PTFE and different fillers.Expanded PTFE Gaskets and Seal materials consist of virgin PTFE with multidirectional fibrous and/or porous structure, which the extruded PTFE consists of. A special manufacturing process provides the material with special chemical and physical properties. This can be of advantage in wide range of applications.   Advantages   Virgin PTFE, PTFE compounds and expanded PTFE offer a wide range of compounded products with good mechanical, electrical and thermal properties, chemical resistance, low friction coefficient and good resistance to wear.   Shape and construction size Several types of PTFE gaskets are produced to meet the most demanding applications.

PTFE envelope gasket is a kind of static seals. It is composed of elastic materials such as compressed asbestos sheet, rubber, ceramics, etc. and PTFE envelope cover.PTFE has superior properties against chemical (not affected by all chemicals except molten alkali metal and fluorine at elevated temperature) and temperatre (from -180°C - +250°C) the coefficient of static and dynamic friction of PTFE are very low. PTFE is the best of the "non-stick" material. It has excellent weathering and ageing characteristics.Applications :PTFE envelope gasket is used to seal pipe flange and joint of industrial machinery apparatus which is lined with rubber, plastic ceramics, graphite etc.

All our PTFE skived sheets and films can be furnished with one or both surfaces etched for adhesive bonding. The etching process consists of precise chemical treatment on virgin or filled PTFE surface required for an excellent bond which thus enables PTFE to be glued on to surface of various materials, such as rubber, metal, plastics, etc. Some of the most common applications are for the tank lining where chemical agents must be stored, machine tools sliding surfaces, coupled with other materials for finished parts, etc.

Compound O-Ring adopts special rubber resisting high temprature, F+ plastic and special engineering to compound this sealing product. It not only has low contraction permanent set functions of rubber O-ring, but also resist heat, cold, oil, friction, chemical corrosion and other performances.
