Automatic loading and unloading of the impact body by pressing the impact device to the roll results in fast and repeatable tests with more resolution than the commonly used ORIGINAL SCHMIDT hammer test. The PAROTESTER 2 Impact Devices are also designed for long service life, unlike the Schmidt Hammers that need to be re-calibrated after every 1,000 impacts.
