Clear polyester film and sheet is flexible, exceptionally strong and durable with properties that make it most suitable for many personal and industrial applications. PROPERTIES & APPLICATIONS:Clear polyester sheet and film is chemically inactive in water and acts as a moisture barrier in many applications. It is also unaffected by oil, grease and most aromatics, making it an extremely versatile plastic and the ideal plastic roll for slip and slides. This makes it a great fit for a wide variety of applications such as clear plastic window films, plastic table rolls, electronic displays, drivers license and university ID cards, photographic printing, screen printing, applications where tear resistance is critical, magnetic recording media (video and audio), sound dampening applications, packaging, medical devices, plastic window covers, and more. Clear polyester sheet or film will retain its superior properties and remain tough, clear and flexible (rollable plastic) from minus -100°F (-73.33° C) to over 300°F (148.88° C). Since clear polyester contains no plasticizers, it will not become brittle or yellow with age under these or other normal conditions. DESIGN PROCESS:Polyester mirrors can be made from the metallized polyester roll stock and silver polyester is made by a deposition of aluminum onto 1 side of the film. We stock 0.002” and 0.005” thick.
