Mexico, a Latin American country, has good demand for dehydrateddried slices of Mango. While India has the potential to supply these products, as per Mexican phyto-sanitary regulations, a pest risk analysis would need to be conducted on the fresh fruit of mango before such permission is granted. In January,2009, APEDA had forwarded technical information on Mangoes with pest analysis for Mexico and the document was forwarded to Mexican quarantine authorities through the Ministry of Agriculture for conducting the pest risk analysis.
