chlorinated rubber
Chlorinated rubber is a derived product modified from the natural rubber through chlorination. It finds wide application in the production of coatings, inks, adhesives, etc. It is non-toxic, odorless, white or pale-yellow loose and soft powders, soluble in such solvents as benzene, ketone, ester, etc., but insoluble in water.Chlorinated rubber has physical drying mechanism. It has a property of film formation by solvent evaporation. Chlorinated Rubber is used in coatings, offering them excellent properties, such as, weather-fastness, water-fastness, insulation, non-inflammability, chemical resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, anticorrosion, mould proof, and increasing the adhesiveness and shock strength of the coatings. Chlorinated rubber is compatible with various resins & plasticizer & has good adhesion on various substrates.
