Hopper Bottom Silos are generally built on fabricated steel structures with conical bottom made of steel plates and the corrugated sheets preformed are assembled with bolts and nuts on circular purlins and vertical stiffeners with water proof washers , cylindrically above the conical hopper with a slopped roof in the top. Ladders to clim b and get into the silos, handrails, manholes etc are provided. The grains will be discharged by gravity to the bucket elevatorbelt conveyor for onward conveying. These silos can also be built on the top of concrete conical hopper with beams and columns built in situ. Aeration, ventilation, temperature monitoring system as required are all provided to the built hopper bottom silos. There are certain distinct advantages in using corrugated Zinc aluminium sheet panels instead of corrugated galvanized steel panels for building the silos.   Characteristics   Flat bottom silos are available in diameters from 2.74m up to 36.5m.   Dynamic Analysis of silo structural stability is carried out considering seismic zone and wind loads of respective areas where the silos will be installed.   Snow load is calculated according to the conditions of the area where the silos will be installed.   Wind load is calculated according to the height of the silo especially for the empty case of the silo.   High quality and extremely strong materials are used during the production process of the silos.    Zincalume steel sheets are used in the manufacturing of the silos, which are able to withstand strength 350MPa.    Zincalume steel has alloy coating of zinc, aluminium, and silicon carried out at 600-degree centigrade which provides much superior corrosion resistance properties, besides special resin coating and passivation is also done to improve scratch resistant properties. The standard GI Silos of G-140 (450gr/m2) zinc coating and G-115 (350gr/m2) zinc coating may also be provided according to the customer’s request.

GLS tanks are Glass Lined Steel tanks, also known as Glass-Fused-to-steel tanks. The reason of fusing glass with steel is to enhance the properties of latter. Single Steel is vulnerable to environmental conditions, hence the fusion is required. After fusing the steel with glass, the strength increases, the acceptable bracket of PH value for alkaline solutions widens, and the resistance of abrasion inflates.   Process and Technology: The tank panels are lined inside and outside with the glass enamel. The enamel is a solid, smooth and shiny cover of silicate. It is fused in a special furnace having temperature ranges from 780 to 900 degree Celsius. The Steel rounded (cylinder) shell of the tank is built from two-layer glass-fused sheet coated on both the sides. The sheets are attached with special high-grade bolts and sealed by constantly flexible silicones (sealants). The connecting material and shell accessories are equipped with the surface treatment. The glass-fused tanks can be used to store fluid or loose material.  The tanks are also a fundamental building element of environmental technological facilities such as Waste Water Treatment, and Biogas Stations.   Quality Assurance and Standards: Every sheet is checked in the manufacturer’s plant for the enamel layer completeness by using the POROSCOPE (DEZ 4.13) and PINHOLE (DEZ 4.12) test according to DIN ISO 2746. Chain conveyors are equipped with high quality component and are ideal for horizontal and inclined conveying of products demanding a completely closed dustproof transport such as grain, pellets etc. Rostfrei chain conveyors are designed in a modular system and be supplied in exact required length with different capacity ranges from 2TPH to 1000TPH. They are available with various accessories making them suitable for special applications, and with additional features which raise the level of safety.

Screw conveyors are designed for competent and consistent transport of a wide range of agricultural and industrial products. Equipment and accessories are manufactured both for straightforward conveyors and for complete systems for large turn-key projects. These conveyors are constructed with reversible motors and several gate-controlled, bottom dump discharge points to provide flexibility.

Belt conveyors are used for moderate horizontal conveying of granular products like grains, pellets, powder etc. The shape of the belt , system inclination and speed of movement are dependent on the solids content and consistency of the material. Typical speed of belt conveyor is 11-16 km/hr.

Rostfrei slide gate valves are designed to stop grain flow from outlets of storage bins, silos and other discharge point. Slide gates are available in manually actuated and pneumatic slide gate valves. The standard sizes are available in standard size ranging from 6inch to 36 inch.

Bucket Elevators are used for transporting flowable bulk material vertically. Rostfrei Bucket Elevators are designed in such a way that withstand easy mechanical process with high quality components. Pre Cleaner is used to remove the particles other than the grain, like dust, straw, sand, clay, etc.

sweep auger is used in silos with flat bottom to unload the rests of the grain inside the silo; the auger collects the material inside of the silo rotating into 360 degrees and directs the material towards discharge openings located on the unloading auger.
