‘v2’ shrinkage template consists of a set  of  2  templates to measure shrinkage or stretch as a percentage change in length & width wise ( warp weft ) direction in a fabric generally shrinkage or stretch in a fabric is measured after washing & tumble drying, flat drying or line drying. the bigger template has slots in both vertical & horizontal direction. The distance between the slots in each direction is 350 mm. This template is placed on fabric & marks are put on all slots by a marking pen which easily goes inside the slot. After marking fabric is washed & dried. Now the smaller template with 5-10-15 marked on it & also with 2 slots 350 mm apart is placed on the marks in each direction. Observe the position of one of the marks ( out of 2 in each direction ) on the scale printed with 5-10-15 & see if there is shrinkage or stretch. The reading ( position of mark on scale ) is the shrinkage or stretch %.
